Greeves 197 (c1954) - Initially renowned for producing invalid cars, Bert Greeves branched out into motorcycle production in 1951. Bert, a keen trials rider, designed their first trials model using state of the art 'rubber-in-torsion' springing front and rear, complete with manually adjustable friction dampers. Power was provided by the super reliable Villiers 197 two stroke single engine. Huge success followed and Greeves motorcycles are still campaigned today.
Note: This early example started life as a 'De Luxe Roadster' and is largely a combination of parts, some of which are trials. Price £2,595
